Immerse yourself into uplifting Kirtan whilst mindfully painting beautiful Mandalas on Tote Bags.
This workshop and Kirtan is lead by the beautiful vocal sounds of Nik Parmar (of Spiritual Gypsy) who brings authenticity to the mantras.
Chetna (of Aatma Holistic) will be leading the sound bath with various instruments including singing bowls and gong.
Kirtan is a call and response style of chanting sacred mantras accompanied by musical instruments. It is a beautiful heart opening meditative practice that is very relaxing, emotive and joyful.
Mandalas date back to ancient yogis where geometric patterns were used as an aid to meditation in Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Templates will be provided however you may wish to allow your creative art to flow as you dive deep into the vibration of sound and kirtan.
No artistic or musical skill is required for this workshop and all materials are generously donated by Nik so there is no additional cost.
Please wear comfortable, warm clothing and bring blankets, yoga mats and cushions etc to feel comfortable during the session.
A percentage of the proceeds from this event will be donated to a local charity.
